Liturgical ministries are a great opportunity to fulfill our baptismal call of service to one another. Liturgy, in Greek, literally means “Work for the People”. Parishioner participation help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations. Volunteers are welcome to assist with ministry once cleared by the pastor in accord with the norms of the diocese. Please devoutly consider joining one of our Liturgical Ministries.

Altar Servers (adult or children) assist the priest at the altar during the celebration of Mass. The duties of the altar servers include processing into the church with cross and candles, holding the missal for the priest, and assisting the priest with whatever they need during the liturgy.

Lector
Lectors proclaim the Word of God during the liturgy.

Greeter/Usher
The role of the greeter and usher is to make people, first time visitors or long time parishioners, feel welcome and recognized when they come into the church. They also help with the collection and presentation of gifts during the offertory.

Sacristan
Sacristans play a vital role in the preparation for mass, by preparing what is necessary for the consecration of the body and blood of Jesus in the eucharist. They also are responsible for washing and storing of the sacred vessels, altar linens, corporal, and purificator.

Music Ministry
Music is a form of prayer. The Music Ministry leads the singing of the assembly to help raise its heart to God through song. If you enjoy singing – or if you play an instrument – we invite you to consider offering your talents to one of our choirs. We have an english choir and a spanish choir.
If interested reach out to the Parish Office for more information on serving in the Music Ministry.
